The communities we serve are currently experiencing a high need for interpreters I the medical industry. Pacific Interpreters is seeking over-the-phone interpreters, fully bilingual, preferably with a t least 1-2 years of medical interpreting experience.
The typical call is a non-English-speaking patient and an English-speaking doctor needing an interpreter. They call Pacific Interpreters, who connects them with an interpreter. All of our interpreters are independent contractors; therefore you would have full control over your schedule and we would only call you during the times that you choose.
Interpreting is a great way to supplement your income and help your community at the same time! We are looking for interpreters who are legally authorized to work as an independent contractor within the US or Canada.
