Working in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, you will advance the development of the subject area, demonstrating strong leadership, and organisational skills along with your ability to inspire others. In essence you will place Northumbria University at the forefront of international pedagogical research and development in the design, delivery and impact of learning and teaching initiatives; develop, implement and evaluate a range of innovative educational interventions in support of Health and Life Sciences programmes within the Faculty and support the development of educational research, through the dissemination of specialist information, production of high impact publications in peer reviewed journals and by securing external funding where possible.
You must have expert knowledge and subject expertise in learning and research teaching. You must develop and disseminate knowledge to a level commensurate with an international contribution to the field, achieving this through externally funded research activity and publications. You will have the ability to foster and develop collaborative links with external agencies, research communities and key stakeholders to develop policy and practice.
