Salary: Professor: £56,067 - £68,223; Reader: £46,846 - £54,283
The Business Analysis, Systems and Supply Chain Management Subject Group at the Faculty of Business and Law has a vibrant team of research engaged faculty. The position of Professor/ Reader will support Professor Waring in academic and research leadership to this team and also act as a member of the Management Team in the Research Portfolio and the Faculty. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will provide leadership in accessing research and innovation income, develop research outputs for the Group and the Faculty, contribute to the accreditation journey, support increase in research capacity and the delivery of an outstanding student learning experience by bringing expertise innovatively into the classroom.
You will have the opportunity to develop your research skills and outputs, contribute to the Research Excellence Framework and subject development. You will also contribute to the programmes across our Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Portfolios. 
It is essential that you are qualified to Doctoral level and can demonstrate specialist knowledge in the area of Operations Management and/or Supply Chain Management.  Our preference would also be for an individual who has quantitative techniques as part of their methodological approach to research or has a research interest in IT/IS aspects of Operations or Supply Chain Management.
For the title of Professor/Reader candidates will also be required to meet the University criteria for the post.
