The Accounting and Finance Subject Group at the Faculty of Business and Law has a vibrant team of research engaged faculty with a mission to lead business and be business led. As a member of the team, you will contribute to the accreditation journey of the Faculty, increase its research capacity and support the delivery of an outstanding student learning experience by bringing your expertise innovatively into the classroom.
You will have the opportunity to develop your research skills and outputs, engage in Doctoral supervision and contribute to subject development. You will deliver, manage and contribute to the development of taught programmes across our Undergraduate and Postgraduate Portfolios.
It is essential that you are qualified to Doctoral level, can demonstrate specialist knowledge of the Accounting and Finance subject area, have experience in the design, development and delivery of successful learning and teaching outcomes and have appropriate academic research outputs suitable for a REF submission and accreditation bodies.
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Financial Reporting
- Auditing
- Management Accounting
- Risk Management (with expertise in investment or banking risk)
