Monitoring Officer for RASKIN (Rice for the Poor) Program – Jakarta, Indonesia – AusAID funded Poverty Reduction Support Facility (PRSF)

PRSF is a joint facility between AusAID and the Government of Indonesia to improve the quality of policy advice for poverty programs in Indonesia.

The Monitoring Officer will conduct a monitoring study for the new targeting scheme for RASKIN. The study will be mainly descriptive, summarizing thefindings from the field survey conducted by a survey firm. He or she will lead asmall team consisting of two data analysts. He or she will work closely with theother M&E Working Group Members, the Cluster 1 Working Group team and asurvey company that is hired to do data collection.

To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated:

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in empirical research on poverty or social assistance programs;
  • Familiarity with programming in statistical analysis software (particularly STATA);
  • Previous experience in survey data collection and analysis;
  • Previous experience in leading a field research team;
  • Good understanding of Indonesia’s social assistance programs;
  • Ability to interpret and present statistical information; good presentational and writing skills.
