SHAREPOINT ADMINISTRATOR/ANALYST ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA

The SharePoint Administrator/ Analyst serves as the primary contact between the ICT unit and business units for SharePoint related training, development, maintenance, issue resolution. Position Responsibilities: The SharePoint Administrator/ Analyst will assist with the design, implementation, administration, development, maintenance and support of the SharePoint and intranet environment. This includes SharePoint upgrades and any SharePoint needs from various practice groups and departments. Major Responsibilities: Implementing high quality, scalable and extendable SharePoint solutions. Awareness of migration and implementation plans. Support of all SharePoint environment components including typical system administrative activities such as site creation, user training, performance analysis, and issue resolution. Assist in the design, architecture, availability, reliability, backup, restore, and security of SharePoint environments. Analyze technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement, create specifications and implement. Other Responsibilities: Collaborate with fellow ICT department staff in the design, development and support of applications/ environment. Collaborate with fellow ICT department staff in supporting the Winrock staff with user responsive technical support for institutional information, communications, and database systems. This includes instruction to Winrock staff in the use of the standard suite of Microsoft software products. QUALIFICATIONS and Background: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related degree, or equivalent experience. SharePoint or .Net certifications are a plus. Experience: 3+ years' experience supporting the design and deployment of enterprise wide SharePoint 2010 implementations and customizations, to include permissions, lists, libraries, Wiki, and other platform offerings. 3+ years hands-on experience administering SharePoint 2010 to include the following: installing and configuring server farm topology, physical and Hyper-V; applying patches, service packs, and infrastructure updates; creating, configuring, and maintaining Shared Service Providers to enable and enhance site search functionality; supporting and deployment of SharePoint related solutions (e.g. 3rd party web parts). 2+ years' experience with MOSS 2010 including custom SharePoint Web parts, SharePoint Workflows, and InfoPath. 2+ years' experience administering user security in the MOSS environment including the use of SharePoint and Active Directory. Experience with Federation using ADFS is a plus. Experience with the .NET Framework tools and the Web development environment is a plus. Strong experience with MOSS solutions deployment across farms and environments, including working knowledge of SharePoint Solution Package (WSP) creation. Strong skills in Microsoft Server 2008+ administration and demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint environment including Central Administration, Web Front Ends (WFE), Shared Service Providers (SSP) and other SharePoint-centric application servers and services. Experience analyzing complex business processes and articulating improvements to achieve operational efficiencies. Excellent understanding of creating and applying styles and templates, with the ability to convert requirements into functional specifications and technical design. Skills: Strong analytical and problem solving abilities; Ability to work with minimal guidance; Ability to multi-task; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Good communications and interpersonal skills.
