- Consultancy Services- for provision printing and document Imaging Solution (establishment a long term agreement-LTA) for period of 24months+24months.
- Background.
UNICEF Ethiopia would like to explore further possibilities to reduce cost of operations in addition to improve internal efficiency and reduce administrative overhead for the management of printing and imaging services. The document imaging solution would entail printing, photocopying and scanning activities that would be paid for. All printers, photocopiers, scanners and multi-functional devices would be owned, maintained and consumable spares provided by the service provider. a) Problem Analysis It is estimated that the office maintains up to 70 printers in the main office alone in addition to a large fleet of photo copiers and scanners - Qualification and Experience Required (International Consultancy Services)
-To demonstrate high level of standards in terms of maintaining integrity and confidentiality of information. The contractor will have to provide required assurance for the security of UNICEF resources and material
-It will be responsible for any incidents as a result of not following the agreed procedures, formalities and work methodology
-In case equipment to be installed in areas outside of Addis Ababa, travel and accommodations will be the responsibility of the contractor
-Maintain a stock of equipment spares and spare parts for immediate replacement in case of any sudden breakdown of equipment.
The criteria for choosing the supplier will be:
(a) Ability to support UNICEF’s ongoing printing, photocopying and scanning programme, (b) Flexible, robust practical solution for X’s document imaging which can flex with business needs, (c) Proactive and communicative account management, (d) Bidders approach to achieving and managing its business to continuously satisfy required service levels, (e) Customer liaison process, systems and skills, Overall quality of proposal Capable of providing Sufficient references to support their level of experience (f) Should have a previous experience in conducting similar projects in and outside the UN (g) Should be registered as per laws of Ethiopia.
