Applications are invited by the Oxford Martin Programme on Human Rights for Future Generations for a Research Fellow/Programme Co-ordinator in the area of Law, Politics and International Relations, or Philosophy. This is a fixed-term appointment for three years commencing January 2013 or as soon as possible thereafter. We are also advertising for two Research Fellows and these postholders will work with the Programme Coordinator and Directors.
The Oxford Martin School Programme on Human Rights for Future Generations is a research programme which focuses on the question of whether human rights constitutes an appropriate framework for confronting some of the most serious problems facing current and future generations. Within this shared framework the research programme focuses on three of the most urgent aspects of insecurity: armed conflict, poverty and environmental change. You main duty will be to conduct research on these themes. You will be required to have completed a Doctorate in one of these relevant areas and have outstanding research skills and previous experience in the coordination and management of academic research. The postholder will be based at Pembroke College, Oxford.
