As part of our continued growth, we are now seeking a Senior Development Engineer to lead a key project in the region. Reporting to the VP of Exploration, key responsibilities will include:
- Clearly define the development goals for the M5 project from handover from Exploration to Define stage
- Ensure all Front End Engineering Design is completed according to specification
- Integrate of all relevant subsurface appraisal, drilling, facilities, commercial and economics data into cohesive business plans for review and approval
- Prepare Field Development Plans (FDP), project schedules, resource plans, and development budgets
- Ensure all opportunities are progressed in compliance with the Stage Gate Process.
- Monitor financial performance versus the budget
Desired Skills & Experience
We are seeking someone with a track record of success in taking development projects through the FEED stage and can truly integrate the subsurface to the surface. You will be an excellent relationship manager and known for your commitment to achieving results. This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur. While the immediate requirements are focused on Malaysia in 2013, future responsibilities could extend to support the Southeast Asia region in matters relating to Development Engineering.
