Help Desk Manager KIMEP University


KIMEP University is seeking a candidate to fill the following position:
Help Desk Manager
Management of consulting and technical support services provided to KIMEP computer users.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Provide a consultative help to KIMEP users on computer exploitation
  • Compose the instructions for computer use
  • Communicate with software and hardware providers on computer repair and warranty problems
  • Install, adjust and eliminate software problems in MS Windows 2000/XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003/2008, MS Office, E-mail, Browsers, etc.
  • Manage new computer software and hardware installation
  • Maintain CISC FAX-server( FAX-Maker program)
  • Maintain Windows Security Updates Server  ( WSUS )
  • Make a short repair of the computer equipment
  • Keep confidentiality when work with data and computer information
  • Submit industrial safety and accident prevention rules
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
Higher education in IT technologies and  experience in that more than 3 years, knowledge and skills in Windows 2000/XP/2003/ 2008, Windows 7, sociability, managerial abilities, insistence, tolerance, honesty , self-study abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Good English, experience of work in support and consultation services, knowledge of IT.
