As a member of Edinburgh Research and Innovation's award-winning Company Formation and Incubation Team, you will be charged with engaging with and informing The University of Edinburgh's students and academics about the opportunities presented by a career as an entrepreneur, as well as the enterprise support services offered to them by Edinburgh Research and Innovation. Through a combination of multi-channel communications, awareness-raising events and one-to-one engagement, you will cultivate a pipeline of early-stage business projects which feed into the Team's group of advisors.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills with groups, on a one-to-one basis and in a range of media, including social networking. A knowledge of the enterprise network in Scotland will be beneficial (though not essential) as will experience of working in a higher or further education institution. Most important of all though, will be an infectious enthusiasm and an ability to inspire others to give entrepreneurship a try.
