WWF-UK Regional Manager - India


Launched on 23 November 1961, WWF-UK is the first National Organisation in the WWF network. WWF UK uses their experience, credibility and influence to help create long-term solutions to global threats to people and nature - such as climate change, the peril to endangered species and habitats, and the unsustainable consumption of the world’s natural resources.
The Eastern Himalayas region is one of four priority parts of the world that will be a focus for WWF-UK’s next 5 year plan. Also WWF India has been identified as one of 4 priority offices that WWF-UK will work with to provide partnership support for their organisational development plans resulting in a more capable and influencing office in the south East Asian region. Work will also involve the management of WWF-UK’s support to the Living Himalayas Global Initiative and the Rivers of Life programme in the Ganges basin.
Under the direction of the Head of Programmes – India, Regional Manager India will manage a portfolio of WWF-UK supported work in India for clear Outcomes. S/he will ensure contracts are well managed, including technical and financial information. S/he will work with other members of the team to develop and inform organisation development in the region.
