Education and Training Intern Location Washington D.C.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES • Work with experts in Emergency Response, Relief & Development, Conflict Resolution, Education, Microfinance & Social Enterprise, etc. • Support assessment of needs and capacities; identification of gaps • Assist in the development of learning strategies and approaches; development of materials • Assist in writing and editing proposals, reports, and other documents • Assist in developing and editing program budgets, as assigned • Conduct research on foundations and program sectors • Assist in logistical and administrative duties
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: • Professional demeanor, detail oriented • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills • General knowledge of world affairs and international/intergovernmental institutions • Experience and interest in training, education, and capacity building • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment • 15-40 hours weekly; M-F varied schedule • Computer literacy and thorough internet knowledge • Experience or interest in digital cinema a plus
Salary: Unpaid internship; monthly transportation stipend and academic credit available
