RedR Australia has an exciting opportunity for a talented and suitably qualified professional to work within the Finance and Administration Service. This is a full-time 12-month maternity leave position at this time, based in Melbourne.
RedR Australia is a not-for-profit organisation which recruits, selects, trains, deploys and supports capable Australians deployed to international humanitarian relief operations. RedR Australia has people deployed to Afghanistan, DRC, Liberia, Tunisia, Egypt, Pakistan, Vanuatu, Fiji, Sudan, Namibia, Kenya, Ethiopia and Haiti. This list will grow. We have well-established partnerships with United Nations agencies UNHRC, WFP, UNICEF and OCHA, and we work with other humanitarian organisations. RedR is seeking applicants with technical experience and proven skills in liaising within a small finance team. A good working knowledge of accounting practices is required, including payroll, budgeting, costing, reporting and related tax compliance. The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and is expected to “hit the ground running”. An excellent communicator, with strong analytical skills, you will have the ability to assess information, suggest recommendations, and coordinate staff to ensure the operational goals of the organization are achieved. |
