Policy and Coordination Manager – Strategy, Results and Communications Team

Duties

The key duties of the Policy and Coordination Manager will be as follows:
  • Management, with the Strategy and Results Manager, of DFID India related Parliamentary business (including briefing and lines to take).
  • Management of DFID India Ministerial and official level correspondence and PQs, ensuring high quality responses and 100% adherence to deadlines.
  • Maintaining up-to-date database of high quality standing, thematic briefs and core scripts on SRC One Stop Shop teamsite.
  • Draft quality submissions and briefings for senior management approval.
  • Planning and delivery of High-level visits by HMG Ministers and senior officials (Director & above)
  • Relationship management with AsCot, British High Commission and other relevant HQ colleagues.
  • Performing a secretariat function for the DFID India Strategy Committee, working closely with the Strategy and Results Manager.
  • Contribute to BHC and DFID HQ corporate strategic documents such as the FCO’s Country Business Plan and DFID’s Directors Statement of Assurance.
  • Provide general support to DFID India Senior Management Team on an ad hoc basis.
  • Encouraging an environment for improving and sustaining high performance in the team at large
