This assignment is to provide an overview of actual and potential financial implications of infectious diseases in animals in Viet Nam. This information is intended to provide a basis for appropriate briefings to national leaders, decision-makers and senior technical and economic experts within relevant sections of the Government of Viet Nam, as well as international donors and technical agencies, contributing to effective prioritization, policy directions and resource allocations related to animal disease prevention, surveillance and response and other related areas.
