West Wisconsin Land Trust is dedicated to preserving western Wisconsin's natural character, saving wild and scenic places. Since 1988, West Wisconsin Land Trust has conserved over 25,000 acres of farms and natural areas throughout 18 counties in western Wisconsin.
Through the generosity of our members, and collaboration with other local partners, West Wisconsin Land Trust conserves, restores, and manages land with high conservation value.
Position Overview:
The West Wisconsin Land Trust is currently seeking a Development Manager.
Responsibilities:
Work with the executive director to pursue corporate, government, foundation, and individual donor funding, as individual donors are our largest source of funding.
Work will include strategy and research regarding potential sources, grant writing, assisting with donor relations, and working with our web-based donor database.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated success with a variety of funding sources
Excellent writing and speaking skills.
Familiarity with Donor Perfect would be a plus.
Experience with individual donors is a must.
