Lead Assessors & Technical Experts, ANSI accreditation programs

Position Summary:
ANSI is recruiting contract Quality Professionals that have experience with the process and technical aspects of evaluating the competence of product certification and laboratory testing organizations. Successful assessor candidates will be familiar with ISO/IEC Guide 65 requirements for product certification and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements for laboratories. Assessors should also be knowledgeable in management systems (e.g., ISO 9000) and fulfill the competence criteria of ISO 19011 - ideally through certification as a Lead Assessor.
Knowledge and Experience
In addition, Technical Experts are being sought with specific knowledge and experience in the following scopes of competence:
  • Telecommunications Certification Bodies (FCC, Industry Canada and/or Singapore IDA devices and equipment)
  • Electrical and Electronic Products (including Components and Materials), Processes, Systems, and Services
  • Forestry Products (Sustainable Forestry Initiative criteria)
  • Food (HACCP, Codex Alimentarius, EUREPGAP, and/or SQF requirements)
A Bachelors degree in a related discipline, and at least 6 years of professional experience are required. Significant travel is involved.
