Etihad offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to Omani Nationals to complete a Higher Diploma in Aviation Engineering Technology Airframe & Aero Engines or Avionics. The programme is a sandwich course consisting of approximately equal amounts of theory and practical training. Theory delivered by Higher Colleges of Technology and practical done with Etihad technical division. Major topics: • Higher diploma in Airframe & Aero Engines • Advanced Materials and Hardware • Advanced Maintenance Practices • Advanced Gas Turbine Engines • Advanced Propellers • Advanced Aerodynamics, Structures and Systems Higher diploma in Avionics: • Instrument Systems • Advanced Electronics • Radio and Navigational Systems • Advanced Digital Techniques/Electronic Instrument systems • Radar Systems • Electrical Systems • Auto Flight Control Systems • Propulsion Systems The Aviation programmes are regulated and approved by the GCAA in conformance with UAE and international licensing regulations.
