Strategic and operational leadership for the drilling training center. Create and operate a world-class, multi-curriculum facility in conjunction with client requirement.
- Build a strategic partnerships with key clients in the domain of Drilling to augment Petrofac practice in this area
- Provide consultancy for the technical and professional development curriculum with key clients.
- Create and support robust competence structures, training and assessor programs.
- Develop frameworks to develop advanced deep-water well control training programs to supplement current industry and regulatory training.
- Develop world class training standards including recruiting and providing leadership to staff to build best in class drilling and well management training capabilities.
- Build and create robust systems to ensure assessments and competence assurance to professionals while visibly elevating standards around wells management in the industry.
Experience:
- Deep expertise in drilling deep water and well control operations; over 15+ years’ experience in managing critical sites and in having worked with organizations to build competence frameworks, established curriculum, training, assessment and certification processes
- The individual will need to bring in strong communication, influencing and consultancy skills to work closely with clients and government bodies in meeting needs
- Strong project management expertise in helping see through execution and following timelines and schedules for key initiatives
- Ability to leverage extensive industry experience towards fulfilling the institute charter.
