Head of Learning and Consumer Banking Academy, Middle East


Key Roles & Responsibilities

Key roles:

•To lead the learning function in the Region aligned to Group, Business and to Region/ Country Strategic People agenda
•To deliver the quality facilitation & training and ensuring the quality of trainers meet the Group Standards

Learning

•Implement a range of Global and Local learning interventions aligned to Country Strategic People Agenda (SPA) and ensure it is consistent with Group design and delivery standards.
•Ensure delivery of Leadership and Management Development programmes ie GMP, LE, PD Courses, Talent programmes, etc as per plans across the Bank for the Region.
•Oversee learning solutions that support various Induction / Right Start engagement programmes/ provide facilitation support to WB Ready as required.
•Ensure Facilitator standards of Learning and CBA facilitators & line managers in collaboration with LMD Facilitators Coach.
•Maintenance of consistent Global governance standards in geographic area of responsibility across regions. Eg Vendor management, self assurance review checks in Key risk areas related to training.
•Work closely with LSSC in streamlining and migration of end to end processes
•Ensure relevant metrics are in place, aggregated and tracked against the plans
•Keep an oversight of local learning requests, if any from WB, GTO & Specialist Functions and ensure that the concerned Business Talent & Learning Heads/Programme managers are engaged accordingly.

Consumer Bank Academy specific:

•Ensure implementation of the integrated CB Learning framework including model CBA standards & governance across the region.
•Engage key stakeholders for Consumer Banking to identify learning needs and match solutions to meet geographic and business specific learning needs
•Manage relevant training infrastructure and training hubs across multiple geographies in line with policy and standards
•Leverage Regional synergies on trainers' capacity and capability.
•Managing, coaching and guiding a team of CB trainers to deliver learning solutions in line with Country and Group expectations.
•Partner with Regional Head of CB on CB learning priorities and deliver the CB learning agenda across all countries
•Periodic review with Regional Head of CB and Regional CB Manco and with Country Head of HR on the progress of the Learning & CB agenda.
•Participate actively in the periodic meeting by Head of CB Learning & Head of Product Delivery and represent the regional / Country views, and provide inputs to the products/solutions and Group process.
•Ensure standardisation of Learning & CBA operating model including structure across region
•Ensure Learning and CBA budget are managed across region and influence priority investments on infrastructure etc through Regional Head of CB
