SUMMARY: Develops and maintains the Drupal web platform.
Implement the following Drupal website features in coordination with the project team:
- Change default language to Farsi; Implement additional languages as required.
- Enhance existing reports and implement multiple reports
- Implement checks for ‘duplicate’ inputs by checking against database for input fields
- Implement new maps
- Implement an e-learning section
- Implement new sections for the website
- Fix miscellaneous bugs and attend to miscellaneous requests
Experience Required
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical degree;
- Minimum six (6) years of computer programming experience in a university, professional or related setting;
- Minimum two (2) years Drupal CMS experience required, experience with multilingual implementations a plus;
- Experience with mobile phone development (Android, iPhone, iPad) and SMS applications preferred;
- Experience with GIS applications required;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity to effectively interact with all levels of NDI staff US and foreign government personnel, members of donor organizations, funders, and policy makers;
- Excellent oral communications skills to effectively present information, respond to questions;
- Smooth multi-tasking among four or more responsibilities;
- Expertise in Linux required
- Fluency in written and spoken English. Additional language skills such as Farsi preferred
- User experience background preferred
