Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the business development is responsible for maintaining and expanding business opportunities for their operation in Malaysia. You will business develop prospective corporate clients, with specific emphasis on generating new business for the organisation.

Key accountabilities will include: 
  • To research, identify and make contact with decision makers at prospective clients to secure meetings
  • To meet with prospective clients in order to gain an understanding of their moving service needs and through the principles of ‘customer centric selling’influence the clients decision to purchase new services or repeat purchase of existing services
  • To support the GM – Sales in maximising new business opportunities through the development of leads and relationships through networking at conferences, business associations, seminars and other events
  • To maintain an agreed sales pipeline also, facilitating achievement of yearly revenue objectives
  • To update systems in a timely manner to ensure all client related information reflects the latest commercial relationship
  • To actively participate in all internal conference calls and training forums


The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you must have a proven track record in Business Development and sales with outstanding PR and people skills to generate new business opportunities and instigate repeat business. You will need to be highly self motivated and driven for success and has high demand language skills.

The other key expectations are: 
  • At least 3 to 5 years experience in business development within the service industry or any other related field
  • Ability to work and communicate with all nationalities
  • Exceptional track record in achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication skills High demand of English is mandatory
  • A high degree of self-motivation
  • The skills to work both independently and as part of a team
  • The ability to flourish in a competitive environment
