Senior Academic Administrative Assistant


Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Senior Academic Administrative Assistant.
Responsibilities
​The successful candidate will provide academic and administrative support to the Office of the Registrar at the Aga Khan University – Institute for Educational Development (IED) campus, located in Karimabad.  Specifically, the appointee will be responsible to:
  • coordinate with IED – Karachi, Professional Development Centres in Chitral and Gilgit- Baltistan and other locations for admission process
  • prepare and develop information / admission leaflet for certificate, advance diploma courses and programmes in consultation with relevant programme coordinator
  • ensure timely receipts of applications
  • schedule interviews in coordination with course leader and team
  • develop yearly planner of courses to be offered and share with all stakeholders
  • arrange accommodation and other logistics for candidates and facilitators from outside Karachi and process related payments
  • assist in convocation activities and in any other task as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
​Candidates should have:
  • minimum bachelor qualification with 2 to 3 years of related work experience
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • good interpersonal skills to deal with students from diverse backgrounds
  • proficiency in the use of MS Office
  • an ability to multi tasks and work as a team player.
