Global eCRM Campaign Operations Manager adidas group - Amsterdam


The Global eCRM Campaign Operations manager is technically focused with responsibility for overseeing the planning, design, development, execution and reporting of multi-channel marketing campaigns for targeting consumers in support of the adidas eCommerce team. He/she aims to deliver best-in-class levels of end-user engagement, with the objective of driving revenue contribution in a multi-channel marketing environment.

Job profile:
  • Hands-on manage all aspects of campaign workflow design, development, quality control, prioritization, suppression handling and execution

  • Work closely with the adidas Marketing Services Provider (MSP) fulfilling a primary contact role, briefing, directing and monitoring them on all aspects of campaign management operations to ensure maximum results are achieved and high quality standards are maintained
  • Ensure that relevancy is driving consumer communication by using a ‘right message, right channel, right time’  approach

  • Harness predictive CRM models in the campaign workflow to drive campaign selections, dynamic content and next best offer

  • Liaise with internal IT teams on issues relating to data integration and campaign management tooling infrastructure

  • Participate in campaign strategy planning with the eCommerce Marketing team
  • Manage an intense production schedule - build, test and launch multiple campaigns, from simple to highly advanced multi-channel campaigns using Neolane’s campaign management platform
  • Ensure that subject lines, copy and other content supports the strategic segment messaging, is engaging and incorporates best practices in order to create successful campaigns, while ensuring compliance with email industry best practices, SPAM and online privacy policies

Desired Skills & Experience

Candidate profile:
  • Extensive experience of at least one leading CRM Campaign Management tool and if required, the willingness to re-train and become an expert on Neolane
  • Someone with a full understanding of how digital communications can be used to acquire, develop and retain customers
  • Strong project management skills
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics and how these can be effectively applied in a CRM environment
  • SQL database query and XML programming skills desirable
  • Leadership, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Quality, accuracy and attention to detail are critical
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with colleagues, suppliers and others at all levels
  • University degree or equivalent in business ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
  • Fluent in English
  • 5 years’ experience in email marketing/campaign management

The Role 

Bloomberg is looking for a qualified application developer with a solid understanding of the financial markets to join our growing Desktop Build Group in Hong Kong. The Desktop Build Group is a resource that works closely with Bloomberg Sales and Product departments. The aim of the team is to increase our clients dependency on our product by creating desktop solutions, mainly spreadsheet applications, which use our Excel Add-In. Projects include assisting customers in the migration of their worksheets from a competitor linked product to Bloomberg data, and building sophisticated models that fill a product gap.

Responsibilities:


- Developing customized solutions for Bloomberg clients and prospects
- Building broad reaching Excel-based solutions to be published in a global Template Library
- Assisting the Bloomberg Sales Force in promoting our Excel Add-In and newly created templates
- Liaising with the Bloomberg Product Development teams to document product gaps and drive product enhancements
- Directly impacting sales through developed applications and direct customer interaction
Requirements 
- Must have previously worked in a financial markets environment and have a good understanding of different asset classes
- Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (C# or VB.NET) is a plus
- Must be proactive, high energy, customer-orientated and prepared to take ownership in a fast turnaround/development environment
- Prior experience with use of the Bloomberg Terminal or similar products is a plus
- Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
- Excellent command of English and Mandarin required
- Some travel might be required

Founded in your knowledge of the region, you will exercise strategic thinking, good project management and sound judgment as you build on our presence and impact.
About you
In addition to a solid foundation of knowledge of the region you should bring a background in supporting the building of movements or supporting development of new projects. You will have an understanding of the link between growth and the mobilisation of a movement to create change, with experience of developing partnerships with Civil Society Organisations & NGOs and excellent project management skills. Equally important are your first-rate communication skills and understanding of human rights and the trends in civil society and activism in your chosen region. Fluency in English is essential. Competency in a relevant regional language is required for some posts. You should have the ability to travel for the role.
