The Energy Research Partnership (ERP) is a high level forum that brings together key representatives from the energy industry, government and the public sector, including funders of energy research, development, demonstration and deployment (RDD&D) in academia, to shape and influence energy policy and how it is implemented in the future energy system.
The ERP Analysis Team is hosted by the UK Energy Research Centre (based in Imperial College, London). It is funded under three-year agreements, the current version expiring in December 2013. Renewal is presently under active negotiation.

The Energy Research Partnership is seeking an Executive Analyst to work in a small team to develop and implement a complex programme of work, across a diverse range of stakeholders.  This role will require a variety of skills and will provide a unique personal challenge.
The Executive Analyst position is a strategic role that is responsible for the development and delivery of the ERP work plan. The successful candidate will have proven experience of working across a range of programmes, technologies, market and social issues at a strategic level whilst dealing with complex analytical problems. The position requires considerable networking, communication and presentation skills, as well as a rigorous analytical background. The position holder will work closely with the other ERP Executive Analysts as well as with the ERP members, co-chairs and secretariat.
The successful candidate will be qualified to at least post-graduate degree level or equivalent, in a subject related to energy technologies (including physical sciences, engineering, economics/finance). A strong record of work experience in the energy sector, in an area with relevance to application to ERP activities and priorities, is essential. The candidate will have a strong mix of technical and policy skills gained within the UK energy sector in an engineering/policy or economics/policy environment, as well as proven project management capabilities.
