Financial processing assistant (x2)


This is a vital supporter-facing role, providing an excellent level of service to Christian Aid’s supporters. The post-holder will play a key role in ensuring that all communications with supporters are of the highest possible standard, that enquiries are handled efficiently and promptly, and that Christian Aid’s database accurately reflects the details and wishes of our supporters.
This role will be based in the financial processing unit. Duties will involve the opening of post, processing of cheque donations, credit cards, charity cards and charity vouchers donations onto the database and updating supporter records in the database. Other duties will include answering phone queries from supporters of a general nature or relating to donations received, along with other admin duties assigned by your line manager.
You will have a background in providing excellent customer/supporter care, and preferably experience in financial processing or cash handling. You will also have considerable experience using a customer or supporter database system.
