Finance Officer

​Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Finance Officer. This position is for a period of one(1) year - subject to further renewal.

Responsibilities

​The incumbent will be responsible to: assist in reviewing budgets of grant proposals submitted to external agencies assist in reviewing financial aspects of grant agreements and ensure its compliance as per the institution policy prepare financial reports as per the reporting schedule of grants prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports including financial performance, newsletter and/or any other report as per management requirement assist in coordinating with internal and external auditors for conduct of grant audits check and get approval of payment and journal vouchers pertaining to grant, ensuring that it is supported by adequate supporting documentation and proper deduction of taxes, if any.

Requirements

ACCA, CIMA or ICMA finalist or MBA with majors in Finance minimum three years of relevant working experience sound knowledge of overall financial systems excellent analytical, interpersonal communication and report writing skills proficiency in computer applications especially MS Office ability to work under pressure and meet stringent timelines.
