Ref No: HR63/13Reader salary: £49,341 to £56,633 pa inc.Professorial salary from: £58,567 pa.
Applications are invited for a full-time Readership/Professorship (without-term) in Drama, Theatre and Performance. We are looking for applicants with research and teaching interests in broad aspects of the field and would particularly welcome candidates whose research is evidently culturally or socially engaged and complementary to the diverse interests of staff in Drama, Theatre and Performance and the Research Centre for Performance and Creative Exchange.
Roehampton has a well-established reputation for its work in international theatre, Performance Studies, Visual Culture, practice-led research, the politics and ethics of performance, Early Modern Drama, writing for performance and interdisciplinary approaches to arts practice. We are seeking applications from highly motivated candidates who will bring distinctive, outstanding research work to the Department and who will be interested in developing postgraduate initiatives that will extend our vibrant PhD research community and complement existing postgraduate programmes such as our MA/MRes in Performance and Creative Research. Experience of the development of University infrastructure and facilities would also be useful.
