Lecturer - £30,424 to £34,223 per annum
Senior Lecturer - £35,244 to £44,607 per annum
Building on the establishment of Criminology in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, we are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic academic to join the team. The successful candidate will have the drive and the ability to contribute to the continuing development of the BA Criminology programme, and to make a strong contribution to the academic presence of the discipline within the Faculty. 
As the successful candidate you will offer specialist expertise in Criminology in relation to security and policing, be able to contribute to the research profile and activity of Criminology, and be interested in developing partnerships with other external agencies and institutions.
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is home to a range of disciplines offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Psychology, Sociology, Theology and Religious Studies, History and Archaeology. We have a thriving and well recognised research culture, and a growing number of postgraduate research students.
