Team Leader - Centre of Government Expert m/w

  • Project: Reforming Policy Coordination and the Centre of the Government - Third Phase.
    The overall objective is to improve policy and legislation processes and outcomes at the central level in view of EU accession.
    The purpose is to redesign the policy making structure and processes in the Government so that the policies are strategic, outcome focused, flexible, innovative and linked to strategic frames, and so that proper coordination from the Centre is ensured.
  • Duration: 440 working days
  • Education: A bachelor's degree (where a university degree has been awarded on completion of three years study in a university or equivalent institution) in political science, public administration or similar areas. A Master in a similar area is an advantage.
  • Experience: - Preferably 8 years of working experience in public administration, or with a public administration, on assignments lasting at least 1 year gained in EU Member States, candidate or potential candidate countries;
    - Minimum 3 years work experience in EU Member States in policy development and policy coordination;
    - Experience in leading teams in the public or private sector or in donor funded projects in one to three projects of similar size, complexity and duration;
    - Specific experience in reforming or strengthening the Centre of Government gained in at least one country covered by article 19 of IPA regulation.
