Introduction
Assistant Manager, Publications.Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Assistant Manager, Publications.
Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for planning and developing high quality print material for the University and its academic entities that meet their communication needs. S/he will manage the production of university-wide publications as well as Pakistan-specific material including manuals, brochures, articles and press releases. The incumbent will find creative ways of presenting information and resolving communication challenges.
Requirements
Candidates should have:
  • A Master’s degree from a reputable institution, preferably in journalism, communications, marketing or a media-related field;
  • 4-5 years of experience in media, corporate communications or not-for-profit/development communications;
  • Excellent English writing and editing skills, with the ability to write for a variety of audiences;
  • Ability to investigate and research ideas to be communicated;
  • Good project management skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks.
