Team Leader - Water Expert m/w

• Project: General objectives of the Water and Sanitation Project in Republika Srpska are aimed at supporting the improvement of the existing living conditions of population, providing adequate hygienic conditions related to water supply and wastewater removal, and implementing environmental protection measures in accordance with the imminent obligations arising from the accession to the EU and harmonization with the EU legislation.
• Duration: 32 months
• Education: The candidate should be a graduate in engineering more precisely in sanitary engineering or equivalent educational background.
• Experience: - Experience in project management, especially by FIDIC conditions of contract;
  - Basic knowledge of EU environmental legislation, engineering know-how on environmental infrastructure, design and cost estimation;
  - Knowledge of design and construction supervision practices of water and wastewater infrastructure required;
  - Management skills and an ability to manage a team;
  - Fluency in oral and written English is mandatory, knowledge of one of the official languages in Bosnia and Herzegovina is an advantage;
  - A minimum of 15 years international professional experience is required in water/sanitation project management, design, implementation;
  - Substantive experience working with EC and EIB water and sanitation guidelines;
  - Experience in institution-building of management units required;
  - Experience with technical and financial reporting procedures of the EC and other donors is required;
  - At least 3 years experience as Team Leader, Deputy Team Leader, or Senior Supervisor on projects concerned with water and sanitation;
  - At least 3 years experience of supervising water/sanitation construction projects under FIDIC conditions of contract
  - Previous experience with project financial management and control;
  - Substantial experience of writing and producing project work programmes and reports.
