Consultant Syria Pre-Assessment Focal Point, P-4, EMOPS, New York.

UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a Consultant Syria Pre-Assessment Focal Point, P-4, EMOPS, New York.

Purpose:

Qualification:
Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in political science, anthropology, sociology, social sciences, international relations, or related field.  First level university degree with relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. 
Minimum seven years progressively responsible professional experience in international development and/or humanitarian action, preferably in post-conflict transition, programme planning, peacebuilding, or related fields. Experience in drafting high quality policy and planning documents strongly preferred.
Fluency in English is required. Fluency in French preferred.
