Concern Worldwide Uganda is recruiting for various positions for the USAID- funded PL 480 Title II Development Food Aid programme called “Resiliency through Wealth, Agriculture and Nutrition RWANU”) in Karamoja to be implemented from August 2012 through July, 2017. RWANU will focus on two strategic objectives to reduce food insecurity among vulnerable rural populations in selected sub -counties in 4 districts of Karamoja: (1) Improved availability and access to food and (2) reduced malnutrition in pregnant and lactating mothers and children under five. All positions will be based in Karamoja. Field Accountant Will provide financial support to the RWANU project. S/he will be responsible for project petty cash, keeping records of all field financial transactions, submitting monthly accounts to the Kampala office and cash flow management. The Field Accountant will also ensure that donor financial regulations are followed at field level and that Concern’s financial policies are adhered to.

Requirement: University degree in Accounting/Finance or Business studies and CPA Part II, proficiency in Microsoft office (particularly excel), 3 years minimum work experience in finance. Experience in international NGO & understanding of USAID regulations and previous field level experience are desirable. S/he will be a team player with good communication, organisation and planning skills with proven attention to detail.
