Salary range: £32,930 – £40,720 per annum
The Joint Research Office manages all research grants and contracts and clinical studies for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT) and Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London.
The Industry Facilitation Officer (IFO) is a new post within the JRO team that deals with the ICHT clinical research studies. The post holder will work very closely with the London North West Comprehensive Local Research Network (CLRN) Industry Manager.
The IFO will play a key role in assisting Clinical Investigators deliver an effective and efficient service to their industry partners in the set up and delivery of NIHR industry portfolio research studies.
The post holder will be required to actively engage with CIs to provide the necessary infrastructure support to get studies off the ground without delay across all phases of the study pathway.
The post holder must have the ability to plan and work independently and strong organisational and communication skills are important pre-requisites. The ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, and work within a team are essential components of the role.
We are looking for applicants with experience of the R&D processes involved in setting up and managing clinical studies.
The post is full time and fixed term for one year and is based on our Hammersmith Campus.
