We’re looking for an accomplished Senior Research & Evaluation Officer to take a lead role in our Research team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that has an excellent track record in developing powerful and innovative housing research. Research that drives our policy, media and campaigning activity to positively impact on Shelter’s ability to help more people.

Your key responsibilities:
  • Developing, designing and leading projects that will influence our future strategic direction
  • Identifying opportunities for innovative new research ideas
  • To provide expert research advice and consultancy to others across the organisation
  • Managing and developing a Researcher
And what you’ll need:
  • Significant experience of working in social research/market research and leading/managing projects
  • The ability to apply qualitative and quantitative research methods to research and evaluation projects
  • A flair for analysing and interpreting statistics and communicating your findings
  • A track record of delivering research outputs that meet organisational objectives
  • A passion for Shelter’s vision: to not stop until there’s a home for everyone
