Senior Assistant Manager, University Website

Introduction
Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Senior Assistant Manager, University Website.
Responsibilities
​The incumbent wil be responsible for overall management of the university's web presence, including content creation and content management, overseeing the content of top-levels of the web site, and providing support and guidance to entities and administrative offices on their web presence.
The appointee will:
  • Manage content on the university's web site including periodic updates of content of top-level pages as needed.
  • Research, write, and edit content, locating photographs and images for web pages as needed.
  • Collaborate with graphic and web designers to create and update web content.
  • Assist with design and development of sub-sites or web pages for academic entities and administrative offices.
  • Provide advice and support to departments and offices for consistency with the university's overall web visual and content standards.
  • Create and manage a system for periodic reports on web site and page usage/visitation, and develop strategies to increase traffic to the website.
  • Provide training in web visual and content standards.
Requirements
​Candidate should have:
  • a Master’s degree
  • at least 5 years’ experience of managing a large website and/or a content management system in a corporate, educational or healthcare sector
  • excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • good understanding of the tools and graphic software used in web development
