Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) Specialist

Introduction
Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) Specialist.
Responsibilities
 
This is a new role within the Information Technology Division which focuses on business process analysis and recommending changes with the objective to have efficient and effective processes across the institution.
 
The incumbent will be responsible to:
  • understand and document the current business process(es) in detail
  • analyze the process and determine gaps and non-value added tasks
  • re-engineer the process and suggest efficient working procedures that are in line with the University’s strategic goals and objectives
  • collaborate with peer teams to resolve design and implementation details as they evolve.
Requirements
  • excellent and demonstrated analyzing techniques in order to understand the business needs and the workflow of business processes;
  • good researching skills and techniques;
  • 1-3 years of practical experience in Business Analysis and/or BPR. Experience in IT field is preferred;
  • excellent writing and reporting skills in order to transform the conversations and the current working procedures into a documented business process;
  • excellent communication sills, the ability to communicate with different staff levels and understand the correct sequence of their tasks;
  • experience in developing and delivering presentations to users.
