The Effective Development Group is GRM International’s specialist performance assessment division. EDG provides a suite of services encompassing a range of disciplines including monitoring and evaluation (M&E), impact assessment, design, planning and knowledge management.
The Effective Development Group (EDG) has exciting plans to expand its portfolio with major bilateral clients in Europe and the UK as well as Australia and the USA, in the field of performance assessment, in particular in the disciplines of program evaluation, M&E systems development, impact assessment and evaluation research. To support this expansion, we are looking to appoint a Development Analyst who will support and assist the EDG Manager in designing and implementing planning, monitoring and evaluation and research activities to further the mission and achieve the organizational goals of EDG. 
Underpinning this growth will be the focus on research and consultancy initiatives, technical programme design and implementation and programme coordination.
You will demonstrate:

  • Relevant Bachelors’ degree;
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience on development projects;
  • Knowledge and experience of M&E;
  • Excellent research, analytical and writing skills;
  • Ability to conceptualize and write a bid proposal or project report;
  • Sound business development and Client Relationship Management skills;
  • Financial acumen and the ability to interpret and analyze financial reports;
  • Sound problem solving, decision making and analytical skills;
  • Results orientation;
  • The willingness to travel.
This position is ideally suited to candidates with authorization to work in United Kingdom.
