Senior Technologist, Blood Bank and Haematology

Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Senior Technologist in the department of Blood Bank and Haematology.

Responsibilities

​The incumbent will: Perform routine tests independently for microbiology section of clinical laboratory according to defined protocols & procedures Maintain quality control records of laboratory tests and implementing safety standards Assist in teaching/training of junior staffs

Requirements

​Applicant should have: BSc in Biological Sciences or Medical Technology/MSc preferred 3 to 4 years of experience as staff technologist at AKU or 6-7 years of relevant experience of outside AKU Knowledge of latest development in medical technology field Administrative capabilities and ability to schedule and plan work Willingness to work in shifts
