Lecturer in “International Political Economy”

Teaching available for Fall 2013 Term
We have a need for a Lecturer in “International Political Economy” for a one-term module, from 9 September  to 10 December 2013, as part of a liberal arts degree for second or third year students.
The Bader International Study Centre (BISC) at Herstmonceux Castle is the UK branch campus of Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. The Centre is an academically fully-integrated but financially self-sufficient constituent of Queen’s, and seeks to enhance the University’s goals of international education by crafting an undergraduate environment combining experiential learning, research and reflection. Small class sizes, field trips, a residential environment, and tutorial support enhance the student experience.  
Successful candidates must have demonstrable undergraduate teaching experience; PhD in hand or near completion; and a commitment to crafting a well-rounded learning environment for students.
A competitive fee is paid per course, and on-site housing may be available. Hiring is under a zero hours faculty employee arrangement.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom at the time of taking up any contract. If you are not an EU national please indicate in your application the basis of any current employment authorisation in the UK.
