Save the Children is looking
for a talented communications professional with on-the-ground emergency
response experience and strong US media contacts. As a key member of
our Communications and Media team, you will develop and implement a
communications strategy to generate media coverage of Save the
Children’s work for children and families during natural disasters and
armed conflict situations.
Candidates must have five to 10 years of communications or journalism experience, a proven track record of media placements, strong writing and social media skills and on-the-ground response training. Position can be based in either our Washington, DC or Westport, CT office.
