Project manager and logistics manager Washington, D.C.

Chemonics seeks a project manager and a logistics manager for an anticipated USAID project to facilitate instructor-led and web-based training for USAID employees worldwide. These positions will support course facilitation, updating existing core and non-core courses, and developing new courses and adult professional development materials. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:
  • Lead technical oversight, proposal development, and logistical aspects of the project
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Chemonics and USAID's Office of Human Resources and Training and Development Division, including supporting communication between headquarters and field offices on course arrangement and development
  • Provide worldwide deliverables for course monitoring and improvement
Project manager qualifications: 
  • Master's degree in a relevant field required ​
  • Minimum five years of related course management or training experience, preferably in adult education, learning theory, and curriculum development 
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and worldwide operational oversight
  • Experience providing training to USAID and U.S. government staff preferred 
  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
  • English fluency required
Logistics manager qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical area required ​
  • Minimum three years of experience scheduling instructors to staff courses and facilitating instruction 
  • Record of implementing performance assessments and evaluations of training effectiveness
  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
  • English fluency required
