The Role Working within the department
of Politics, you will be able to contribute to teaching in the
Department’s innovative and successful MA in Art and Politics, and will
also contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level in
international studies with an emphasis on non-Western approaches to the
international.You will have a PhD in Politics. You will have experience
of teaching at university level and will have research and teaching
interests in more than one area, with a background in art and politics
(with an emphasis on political theory and practice, including strategies
and interventions in the public domain). You will have a track record
of high-quality research and publication at an internationally excellent
standard, along with evidence of imaginative research plans.

The department is involved in teaching and undertaking research in various aspects of political life including: social and political theory; the history and politics of Asia and Africa; European and international politics; British politics; postcolonial theory; economics and political economy; art and politics; and public policy.
