We seek to appoint a lecturer in empirically sound software engineering, to contribute to the School's research and teaching activities. In particular, we are looking for a candidate with a solid background in software engineering and a proven track record in designing and using rigorous, empirical methods for the investigation of all aspects of software, user interfaces, and methodologies,in order to strengthen the school's research portfolio in the area of empirical methods. We also expect the successful candidate to contribute to our teaching, in particular in empirical research methods and software/interface engineering, tomake a significant contribution to Masters and Doctoral supervision and to enhance the School's research culture.
Candidates will demonstrate significant promise in their research discipline and a strong record of achievement in their career to date.
