Recruiter (Part Time) Arlington, VA

Crown Agents USA, Inc. (CA-USA) is seeking a Recruiter (Part Time) for the Human Resources Department in our Arlington, VA office.

Role & Responsibilities
To contribute to the profitable growth of CA-USA through:
  • Providing a full and professional recruitment service, focusing on recruitment of international staff
  • Working in partnership with internal hiring managers in the development of a performance management culture and the delivery of business goals
  • Supporting proposal and project management recruiting efforts for existing projects and upcoming proposals
Specific Responsibilities
Recruitment & Selection
  • Assist in selection of staff through:
  • Screening & ranking applicant CVs sent in response to advertisements for open positions vis-à-vis position requirements
  • Identifying non-active job seekers for difficult to fill CA-USA positions leveraging existing and innovative Internet and networking techniques
  • Carrying out interviews with hiring managers as requested by Recruiting Manager ensuring that interviews are carried out in a professional and consistent manner
  • Reformat resumes for proposals and/or submission to external clients
  • As directed by Recruiting Manager, liaise with Human Resources to ensure equitable and consistent application of salaries and benefits for employment offers and other compliance aspects of recruitment
  • As directed by Recruiting Manager, draft employment agreements
Department Administration
  • Oversee internal 1420 document process including ensuring accuracy of the form to include gathering salary verification, signing, and filing forms within the recruitment database
  • Gather and review for accuracy all candidate documents in compliance with federal, donor and internal CA-USA procedures
  • Consistently update candidate and assignment records in recruiting database to ensure accuracy of information
Business Development
  • In the absence of the Recruiting Manager, participate in business development meetings
  • Under the direction of the head of the Business Development department and Recruiting Manager, source and identify qualified candidates for proposals
  • Provide lead proposal recruiting support during peak proposal season
  • In conjunction with the business development team, reformat resumes for proposals
  • Maintain regular contact with identified consultants through regular correspondence for self-interest or referral purposes
Special Projects
  • Undertake any assigned special projects involving the development and implementation of new recruiting practices
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
  • Fluency in English required; Secondary language skills desired, but not required.
  • Legal ability to work in the United States required.
  • Must demonstrate personal attributes such as loyalty and integrity in addition to being resourceful and flexible, which is inherent in this position.
  • Minimum two or more years experience full cycle recruitment experience including sourcing and placing candidates; combination of work history and professional degree or certification considered.
  • Experience in international development or other international sector a plus.
  • International work, study abroad, or related experience desired.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated, intermediate capability with an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) or TMS (Talent Management System) software required.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with use of social networking sites for recruitment preferred.
  • Above average oral and written communication skills.
