Electronic Health Records Research Group Coordinator

This is a varied and interesting post in a lively and friendly research and teaching department. The Electronic Health Records Research Group comprises 10-plus researchers whose work focuses on the use of electronic health records to identify the determinants of disease and the effectiveness of interventions to prevent and treat disease. The role involves administrative management for the Group and full personal assistant duties for the group leader, Professor Liam Smeeth.
The post holder will be an experienced, organised, self-motivated, professional administrative manager and skilled communicator who is willing and able to help the Group fulfil their research aims. S/he will also be expected to lend their experience and knowledge to developing the strategic vision. The postholder will assume a pivotal role in the Electronic Health Records Research Group.
The successful applicant will have substantial relevant administrative and coordination experience. The post requires excellent IT skills.
The post is available full-time although some flexibility may be possible. This is a new post and is available immediately. The post is funded until 31st July 2015. Salary is on the Professional Support Pathway, Grade 5 in the range £31,065 to £35,661 per annum, inclusive. Applicants are encouraged to discuss the post with Professor Liam Smeeth (liam.smeeth@lshtm.ac.uk).
