You will assist in a broad programme of research and development of projects relating to the identification of biomarkers in skin scarring. This post will include processing and storage of biological samples received from the UK and our international collaborators from Europe, Caribbean, Australia, Asia and Africa. A particularly important area of research will be working with cells as well as tissue and their profiling for identifying susceptibility to skin scarring.
You should have relevant experience in subjects related to cellular/molecular biology (previous experience in skin biology is desirable). You should also have experience of working with biological tissue.
The position is tenable for up to 30th September 2013.
