Background:
Social Impact (SI) is a Washington, DC-area international development management consulting firm. We provide a full range of innovative program evaluation, management consulting, technical assistance, and training services to strengthen international development programs, organizations and policies. Our global services are in the areas of democracy and governance, health and education, agriculture, the environment, and economic growth.
Objective:
SI is requesting CVs for Mid and Senior-level Evaluation consultants for an upcoming evaluation procurement to provide evaluation services across a wide range of technical areas in Georgia. Experience designing, conducting, or delivering evaluations in at least one of the following sectors is required:
• Economic Growth;
• Agriculture;
• Energy & Environment;
• Democracy & Governance; and
• Health and Social Development.
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of relevant experience for mid-level evaluation consultants and at least 10 years for senior-level consultants;
• Experience in designing, participating in, and/or conducting a range of evaluations, including but not limited to:
o Performance Evaluations
o Experimental and quasi-experimental impact evaluations
o Quantitative methods
o Qualitative methods
o Mixed methods
o Mid-term
o End of project evaluation
• Experience performing evaluations in Georgia and the respective region is required;
• Experience with the evaluation methods and practices of major donors such as DFID, AusAID, MCC, EC, World Bank, USAID;
• Master’s degree in relevant field from an accredited institution required, Ph.D. highly desirable;
• Fluency in English is required, Georgian highly preferred;
